I’m a Phi Mu, Stay a Phi Mu, Phi Mu ’til I Die

This isn’t your typical article, but it isn’t your typical sorority. It’s better.

Phi Mu. You will always have my heart.

The decision to pledge myself into Phi Mu on October 27th, 2016 was quite frankly one of the best decisions that I have ever made, and that made the decision I had to make to become an alumna one of the hardest ones I have ever made.

It sounds cliche, but that is the truth. My sisters in Phi Mu will always be in my heart. This article is for them, and all of the future Phi Mu pledge classes.

Dearest sister,

I will always be here. Hopefully, I got the chance to get to know you, but if I did not… let’s fix that. I may not be present, but I’m always here for you. No matter what happens in your life, you will always have someone to go to for help, advice, or just someone to talk to. I will always be your sister. Our differences may never go away, but neither will I. Our sisterhood is one that is in my heart for eternity, and I hope it is in yours too.

Always remember that our sorority is one of a kind, and each and every one of us is beautifully and wonderfully made. Stand tall, be yourself, and never apologize for being you… because you are amazing just the way you are.

It made me so happy to see all of your pictures through recruitment and getting our beautiful new phis this bid day, but it also made me sad. I’m sad because the collegiate membership part of my life is behind me, but I’m happy to have experienced it with all of y’all.

I can’t wait to see the amazing things that our chapter does in the future.

I love Phi Mu and I love all of you.

Here’s some of my favorite Phi Mu memories:

Stay Golden,
